Learning to use a camera to create black and white photographs is only one part of the equation; the other lies within the mystery of the darkroom. This class is designed for individuals who are interested in a "hands on" exploration of B&W film processing and printmaking. Demonstrations will take place on a daily basis, with ample time for students to process and print their own negatives. Contact sheets and work prints will be reviewed during group and individual sessions. One or two field trips are planned to generate new negatives and take advantage of the inspiring landscape. The only requirement is one of commitment to take the next step. |
