# # Whether you enjoy taking casual family snapshots or have greater aspirations, this workshop will help you acquire the skills necessary to make effective photographs.

This class is an intensive start-to-finish primer on understanding the 35mm SLR camera. While covering basic technical information such as, manual vs automatic exposure controls, focus and creative depth of field, film choice and shutter speeds, we will also begin to develop visual and aesthetic skills necessary to make interesting images.

There is truly no better place to take a workshop of this nature. Cape Cod provides a beautiful outdoor classroom. Daily field trips and discussions will provide immediate feedback for learning the intricacies of successful and creative shooting.
