This workshop is for photographers who have a strong foundation in the B&W darkroom and are ready to make the next step toward greater artistic and technical capability. This is a comprehensive workshop, examining the progression of decisions and choices that lead to fully realized photographs.
Darkroom sessions will cover split contrast printing, flashing, local and overall bleaching, toning, dye dodging and masking techniques. Critiques will include portfolio review, printing results, and finally, print handling and proper presentation for gallery review. An active exhibitor, Daniel will discuss how to find spaces to show your work and how to approach galleries with your portfolios.
